사이버국방 연구센터
Cyber Defense Research Center
사이버국방 연구센터는 국내 최초의 사이버국방 전문연구기관입니다. 사이버국방 연구센터는 국가 사이버 방어와 사이버전 임무 수행에 필요한 기반기술을 확보하고 사이버 공격 대응을 위한 응용기술을 개발하고 효과적인 사이버전 임무수행을 위한 사이버국방 정책을 마련하기 위해 설립되었습니다.
사이버국방 연구센터는 2011년 사이버국방학과 관련 학군제휴 협약에 근거하여 2012년 설립되었습니다. 2013년에는 국방부의 ‘국방정보보호 전문기술 지원기관’으로 선정되었습니다. 이를 근거로 국방부와 각 군의 사이버국방 및 정보보호 분야 정책 수립과 기술 개발을 지원하고 있습니다.
대외적으로는 보안뉴스 사이버국방 리포트 기고를 통해 국내외 사이버국방 관련 최신 소식을 전하였습니다. 또한 각종 세미나를 개최해 사이버국방 관련 인식 제고와 정책, 기술의 방향성을 제언하고 있습니다.
Cyber Defense Research Center (CDRC) was established in 2012 as part of an MOU between Korea University and the Republic of Korea military. It is the first research center in Korea to specialize in national cyber defense, catering to developing technologies to counter cyber-attack; securing generic technologies related to national cyber defense and cyber warfare; and designing national cyber defense policies to effectively address cyber warfares.
In 2013, CDRC was designated as a Specialized Technical Support Institution in Information Security by the Ministry of National Defense (MND). Since then, CDRC has supported the MND and ROK military in cyber defense and security policy-making.
CDRC has also been a contributing staff at Security News, a news media in Korea that specializes in security. CDRC published weekly overviews on cyber defense issues, covering news from both Korea and abroad. CDRC also holds various seminars to raise awareness on cyber defense issues and to inform the public about important cyber defense policies and technologies.
디지털포렌식 연구센터
Digital Forensics Research Center
디지털포렌식 연구센터는 국내 유일의 대학 디지털포렌식 관련 연구센터로 발족하였습니다. 디지털포렌식 연구센터는 컴퓨터 범죄 및 침해사고 대응에 대한 효과적이고 합법적인 디지털증거 수집/분석, 법정제출 기법과 절차를 연구하며 한국형 컴퓨터 포렌식 툴과 디지털 증거물 통합 관리 시스템을 개발하고 있습니다.
디지털포렌식 분야의 꾸준한 연구 성과에 힘입어, 2004년 경찰청 사이버테러대응센터 산하 디지털 증거분석 센터와 학문, 기술적 교류협정(MOU)을 체결하였으며, 2007년 하반기에는 한국전자통신연구원에서 공동으로 제작한 한국형 디지털 포렌식 수사 가이드라인 및 이동전화 포렌식 가이드라인이 TTA 표준으로 채택되었습니다.
그밖에도 오픈 소스 프로젝트를 진행하고, 국제 디지털포렌식 챌린지에서 다년간 우수한 성적을 거두는 등 세계적으로 디지털 포렌식 분야를 발전시키는데 앞장서고 있습니다.
Digital Forensics Research Center was established in 2003 as the first digital forensics research in Korea. Our research center mostly investigates effective and legal digital collection and analysis of evidence and court submission techniques and precedures against computer crimes, infringements and accidents, while developing Korean-style computer forensic tools and digital integrated management systems.
Thanks to our research achievements in the digital forensics field, our research center signed MOU in terms of academy and technology with Digital Evidence Analysis Center, an affiliated organization of Cyber Terror Confrontation Center of National Police Agency, in 2004, and in the second half year of 2007, our Korean style digital forensics investigation guideline and mobile phone forensic guideline, designed in association with Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, were chosen as the standard of TTA(Telecommunications Technology Association). In addition we lead the digital forensics area by the proceeding some open source projects and take the honor of global digital forensics challenge.
사이버무기 시험평가 연구센터
Cyber Weapon Test and Evaluation Research Center
사이버무기 시험·평가 연구센터는 사이버무기 개발 및 평가 체계 연구를 목적으로 사이버무기에 대한 공격기술 및 방어기술을 확보하기 위해 2017년 4월에 설립되었습니다.
사이버무기 시험·평가 연구센터는 고신뢰 암호장비연구실, 고신뢰 시스템·네트워크연구실, 고신뢰 관리체계연구실과, 사이버무기 취약점 분석 및 모의해킹을 위한 Red Team 및 외부 자문단으로 구성되어 사이버무기의 신뢰성 시험·평가 기술에 대한 연구개발을 지원하고 있습니다.
Cyber Weapon Test and Evaluation Center is established in April 2017. It aims to develop Cyber Weapon and Evaluation system in order to develop cyber attack and defense technology.
CWT-EC consists of High-Assurance Cryptography lab, High-Assurance System-Network lab, High-Assurance Management System lab, external advisory panel, Red Team for Cyber-Weapon vulnerability analysis and penetration test. to research trustworthiness test·evaluation technology. CWT-EC supports scientific research of trustworthy test·evaluation technology for Cyber Weapons.
