5. Abstracts :
The Lie group SO(n,1) and SU(n,1) have the left-invariant metric
coming from the Killing-Cartan form. The maximal compact subgroups
of the isometry group acts from the left and right. The geometry of
the quotient space of the homogeneous submersions (by left actions)
SO_0(n,1) -> SO(n)\SO_0(n,1)
SU(n,1) -> SU(n) x U(1)\SU(n,1)
are investigated. These are beautiful spaces with many symmetries.
The spaces are expressed as warped products. Their group of
isometries, geodesics, and sectional curvatures are calculated.
